Dr. Sarat K. Dash recently took and passed the certification examination for the Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RPhS) certification administered by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
The RPhS certification was developed to certify technologists and physicians who have proven special skills performing minimally-invasive diagnostic venous examinations, most commonly with color and gray-scale duplex ultrasound. To qualify to sit for the exam, candidates must document and prove training and experience in a venous testing environment. The RPhS certification is the only certification currently devoted to venous ultrasound testing.
